1- Get coupons from the Sunday paper

Do a search on Google for coupon blogs or mommy blogs and you are sure to find far more than you can ever hope to read. Add in your state, favorite grocery store to find blogs that will be better suited to you. Thousands of dedicated homemakers scour their store ads and match up coupons to bring the rest of us great deal after deal. You can often get toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and other staples for free if you keep an eye out for awesome sales.
3- Print internet coupons

4- Keep a price book
Not all stores carry items at the same price point or even the same package size. It will help you in the long run to know the cost per unit of the item you are buying. Keep a small notebook with you when you are at your favorite stores and make note of the unit cost of all of the items that you regularly purchase. Then when you find one of the items on sale at a store, you’ll be able to see if it’s really a good deal or not.
5- Reduce waste
Make an attempt to not throw out any leftovers. Schedule one or two meals to be leftover meals and clean out your fridge.
